This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, previously with family and this time with friends. Our room looked out across the bay which was stunning! The rooms are quaint and in keeping with the style of the hotel and I love the reception area ! Breakfast was very nice and staff were extremely professional.Amanda C. Hartlepool, UK
We recently stayed at the Western Isles Hotel for a week and had a lovely stay. Ok the Hotel is looking a little tired that is the reason why I have have not rated it as excellent, but the new owners are going to update it soon..they have only been their since July this year. We found all the staff at the hotel very polite & helpful. We will certainly return & we hope the new hotel owners will keep the lovely character of the hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay.Devon, United Kingdom
There's something magical about staying in a place with obvious history... the building itself commands spectacular views overlooking the Sound of Mull..,. every day it appears different, sun, wind or rain--(hey, rain is part of Scotland..enjoy it!) ...the structure of the hotel is in the process of being upgraded, but let's hope the renovations don't take away from the 'Grand Old Lady' sense of the place...James, Abu Dhabi
