Charlotte Mellis, a seasoned potter with a rich legacy spanning approximately four decades, has dedicated her life to the art of crafting pottery. Her creations encompass both handbuilt and thrown pieces, a testament to her versatile mastery of the medium. She entrusts her vision to earthenware clay, which she meticulously fires to 1080 degrees, imbuing her pieces with a captivating vitality.

To share her artistry with the world, Charlotte established the Tin Shed Gallery, a quaint haven located south of Calgary Bay. Within its walls, her pottery finds its voice, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the timeless allure of her creations.

The Tin Shed Gallery is open from April till the end of October: 12-5pm Wednesdays to Sundays.
